We’ve built an extensive community outreach program and supported this through employee volunteerism and the Mirastar Community Impact Fund. Our employee volunteer team is made up of our team members, as well as their families and friends who dedicate their time and resources to supporting a variety of local non-profit organizations and participating in volunteer events.
Mirastar strives to:
Empower
by stepping up to the challenges that face our community.
Enrich
by providing support and resources to create a better living environment for Santa Clara and San Benito County families.
Enhance
by listening and providing meaningful solutions to our community’s needs.

Back-to-School Drive
As part of our community events, Mirastar partners with The Family Giving Tree to collect backpacks filled with school supplies for low-income, at-risk children in Santa Clara County.
Scholarships
Every year, we award one-year educational scholarships to graduating high school seniors and post-secondary students enrolled in an accredited university or community/technical college full and part-time. Awards range from $500 to $1,500.
Teddy Bears on Patrol
For over 20 years, Mirastar has collected and distributed thousands of Teddy Bears during the holiday season for local law enforcement agencies, school districts, hospitals, and charitable organizations. The purpose of Teddy Bears on Patrol is simple – provide comfort and friendship to a child in need.
SCCOE Teacher Recognition Night
The Santa Clara County Office of Education annually recognizes exceptional teachers from each school district in the country for their dedication to Santa Clara County schools. For more than 20 years, Mirastar has co-sponsored an awards ceremony at this event.
We care about making a positive impact in our communities.
We’re excited to share Mirastar’s 2023 Community Impact Report, where we highlight the stories of how our investments and engagement are making a difference in Santa Clara County and beyond.
As part of our commitment to enhancing our communities, financial literacy for children and supporting teachers in the classroom is a key initiative we’re continually proud to support.
